and prairies, by reinforcing natures' inherent desire to restore itself ---
and the human spirit. Location: Prairie Oaks Ranch is located in Bowie, Texas, just one hour and 15 minutes northwest of Dallas/Ft. Worth airport off U.S. Hwy 287. The north end of the 956-acre ranch fronts on U.S. Hwy 59, five miles Northeast of the city of Bowie. It is bordered on the west by the Bowie Municipal Airport which is used for light recreational and small business propeller aircraft. Sportsman can easily walk the short distance from the airport to the ranch. The airport's hangars can accommodate a King Air. (Map)
